World Congress of Psycho-Oncology
A performance of three stories from Cancer Tales by Nell Dunn marked the launch, on 17th September 2007, of the Cancer Tales: Communicating in cancer care workbook.
This launch took place at the World Congress of Psycho-Oncology held this year at Imperial College, London, UK. The congress is organised annually by the International Psycho-Oncology Society (IPOS), formed in 1984 to encourage discussion and debate on the psychological and emotional issues around cancer management.
Over 300 delegates attended the evening performance, which was followed by an open questions and answers forum with a panel consisting of:

- Trevor Walker - Director of Cancer Tales
- Claire Moynihan - sociologist and patient
- William Breitbart - Vice President of IPOS
- Dr Patricia McNair - GP and medical journalist
